Gaming experience suggests an answer to the question of the origin of ancestor gods

At first, I just watched when my brother played. Now that I’ve had some hands-on experience myself, it’s become apparent how easy it is to project unreasonable powers to the one with the controls, especially if you’re not yourself familiar with the game. The one with the controls is co-credited for the impressiveness of the game itself.
I’d like to draw an analogy from this to how children project powers to their parents. Elders are co-credited for the impressiveness of the world. From this, the leap to divine status is not a very difficult one.
